About Us
Jacaranda Grove Pre School is a privately owned and operated Pre School in two locations (Nelsons Plains pictured). We are licensed by the Department of Community Services and receive funding from the Federal Government in the form of Child Care Benefit. The Pre School provides placement for 29 children per day between the ages of 2 and 6 years.
Our Philosophy of Early Childhood education is that all children deserve the opportunity to develop to their greatest potential, in an environment which nurtures their individual talents and abilities. We believe children need a stimulating and challenging environment where they can feel happy, safe and secure.
At Jacaranda Grove we believe parents play the most important part in each individual child’s development. It is therefore our aim to form a good relationship with all parents and work together as a team to provide the best for each child.
We accept that all families are different and possess varying values and expectations, and we endeavour to meet these needs to the best of our abilities.

Hours of Operation
The Pre School is open from 8.00am until 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
We are opened for 48 weeks of the year, with a 4 week holiday closure during the Christmas / New Year period. Families are advised of these dates in fourth term.
The Pre School is CLOSED for all National public holidays.
The Pre School is only licensed to have children on the premises between these hours and it is essential that children are dropped off and picked up between these times.
Fees
Full fee Daily Rate $52.00
With Maximum CCB* $19.32
*Child Care Benefit is a subsidy provided by the Federal Government and is available to families enrolled at the centre.
Child care Rebate is also available to families at our service where both parents work, study or volunteer, this entitles the family to 50% rebate of their out of pocket expenses. i.e If you are 0% customer and you pay $52 per day, FAO will pay you $26 per day rebate into your account paid quarterly, if you claim CCB as reduced fees and pay $20 per day FAO will pay $10 rebate per day paid into your account quarterly.
Once a position has been offered to you, a Registration fee of $33.00 is payable to ensure confirmation of your position.
This fee covers administration costs associated with the enrolment of your child, and includes your choice of either a broad rimmed or legionaries style Pre School hat.
This fee is non refundable should you withdraw your child, and payable each year your child attends.
Fees are to be paid on your child's first day of Pre School for the week and kept up to date at all times, failure to do so will jeopardise your child's position. Fees are not payable for public holidays or over the Christmas break however they are still payable when a child is absent due to illness, holidays etc.
If necessary, any outstanding accounts will be passed on to the relevant debt collection agencies, along with personal details required to retrieve monies in arrears, and with this a fee of approx 20% will be added to your account.
